12/4/2008 Welcome to our page.My name is Sharon & my husband is Chris. We have 3 boys who are, Adam(25),Patrick(22) &Tristan(21).
It's nice to wake in the mornings & look out the window & see the water, the trouble is where we see it every day we can sometimes take it for granted.
Chris & I have always lived in the Cowes area so when we got married we made a conscious decision to bring our children up in the same area. It is a nice quiet island & we are lucky to be on an island, close enough but also cut off from the mainland so as it is a safe place to be. It is nice to go out driving & not seeing any motorways, we only have 1 dual carriageway over here. The fastest we can legally drive is 60mph & there are only a few roads we can do that now.
Both of us have family nearby Chris is one of seven children of which all apart from one still live on the island. I was an only child until my parents split & remarried & now I have gained 3 step sisters. I used to say when I was younger I would have liked an elder sister, that went wrong they're all younger than me! (geez still didn't get what I wanted) just kidding, they're called Emma, who is my dads wife Kaths daughter & Carol & Karen who are mums husband Adrians daughters. My dad & Kath live a couple of minutes up the road in the village & still have Emma at home. Dad works in Newport at Compass Cars & Kath works for a local solicitor. Mum & Adrian retired & live in southern Spain. Actually thats handy it means I have a place to go to when I want to escape for a few weeks. I go a couple of times a year & usually Chris & I go in the summer together too. The boys have been a few times too & mum comes here to stay a couple of times a year so at least we see her plenty. *
I enjoy reading, playing games on my PS2 & Nintendo Wii. I also like watching Formula 1 & the soaps. Chris enjoys fishing, gardening, watching football & the soaps too.
* Both Chris & Adam lay gas mains & services for Southern Gas Networks. Chris works on the mainland & commutes daily & Adam works on the Island. * Patrick is a self employed carpenter and started his own company in 2008. It is called "Patrick Cade Carpentry" * Tristan is currently unemployed but looking for work, he doesn't like not earning the money.* Adam lives over the river from us with his girlfriend Steffi who is a lovely girl it's only about a 20 minute drive so he's not far from us. We see him loads & when he's here he raids the larder & freezer so its just the same as if he was still living at home.
Patrick & Tristan still both live at home & most nights Tristans girlfriend Emma stays, so you could say we have a busy house at times really. Not that we would have it any other way.

We have a dog called "Roxy"; she is a crossbreed & my spoilt little baby. * Our house has a large back garden which is like a picture in the summer when its all in bloom, thats down to Chris as I despise gardening! * If & when anything changes we will update this.
